In the US the obesity rate is 30% and in Japan, the obesity rate is just 3.5%. It is insane that the United States has almost 10X the obesity rate of Japan! Wonder why this holds true? Here's a video discussing why it's simpler to be thin in Japan. Here's one fascinating observation. There are 15 times more fast food restaurants per person in America than there is in Japan. The Japanese likewise consume a lot more rice. Isn't rice fattening? Clearly not!
